## Before you submit

You need:

- A Medium account
- A complete story you have rights to publish, prepared in a supported browser or the mobile app
- Do not publish primarily to drive external traffic or improve search rankings, and do not post teasers linking to the full article elsewhere
- First-party promotion is allowed; third-party advertising and sponsorships are not

Not needed:

- A paid Medium membership to write and publish ordinary stories
